Meetings

• WAVL meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 8.30pm at a women-only venue in London, England.
• All women-born-women are welcome to attend our women-only meetings regardless of:
  • race
  • age
  • class
  • physical impairment
  • sexual orientation
  • creed
  • HIV status
  • size

Accessibility

• WAVL premises are accessible to wheelchair users and people with sensory impairments.
• A British Sign Language Interpreter is always available.
• It is a smoke, perfume, pornography and diet industry-free space.
• We always turn away women wearing sado-masochistic clothing or nazi regalia, and those who disagree with the fundamental beliefs of the organisation.
• Girls are welcome to attend with mothers but please, no boy-children over the age of eleven.
• We host a number of separate sub-groups providing safe spaces:
  • The Survivor's Caucus, for survivors of abuse and of the mental health system.
  • The Black Women's Caucus.
  • The Elders Caucus.
  • The Younger Women's Caucus.
  • The Working Class Caucus.
  • The Middle Class Exiles Caucus, for survivors of class privilege.
  • The Differently Abled Caucus.
  • The Lesbian Caucus (a number of whom are currently debating whether or not to split and form a Bisexual Caucus).
  • The Spiritual Wimmin's Caucus.
  • The HIV-Positive Women's Caucus.
  • The Fat Women's Caucus.
  • The Bulimia and Anorexia Caucus
