Amy is the custodian of this painting. She says:
“I would be honoured to be a custodian of ‘the red tower’. The project is such a wonderful idea. I agree that kinship in the queer community is so important. I definitely think of it as kinship. I love the idea of being able to pass a painting on as a form of inheritance and that it can remain visible and in the world. I would give the painting a good home for as long as I can and then promise to pass it on within the queer community. It would also be a promise to myself to stay actively connected to my community for my lifetime. I like that idea.”
