I have worked as a freelance journalist for more than ten years, for print, digital media, and radio. My clients include: BBC, British Film Institute, Cheap Date, DIVA, Europride, g3, Gaydar, The Guardian, Liverpool Biennial International Festival of Contemporary Art, On Our Backs, The Food Commission, The Wellcome Institute, The Women’s Library, Time Out, and others.
I specialise in producing original stories and opinion pieces that are critical of anti-obesity rhetoric or policy, and which highlight fat culture, activism and identity.
I also have extensive experience in producing news stories, features and interviews about LGBT culture and community, working as a staff writer and content producer for Britain’s biggest queer brands. I currently write a monthly column for DIVA magazine.
I am available for freelance commissions, please contact me.
